Kid Rock is a name that hasn’t been a chart topper in recent years, but he has sold more than 25 million albums and established a rather sizable fan base. Like many country musicians, he has a fascination with trucks and owns quite a few. He even created and performed “Trucker’s Anthem” more than 15 years ago. More recently, however, Kid Rock has gotten behind the wheel of the new GMC Sierra pickup.
The high-end truck features a custom package created by Rocky Ridge, an off-road outfitter, to match Rock’s lifestyle, and the result is astounding.
The new GMC Sierra features a six-inch lift with 35-inch tires and other add-on features. The company’s signature “Stealth Coating” was added to the hood and bumpers and offers more protection. The custom-rolled steel bull bar sits on the fascia and boasts a 20-inch LED light.
The new Sierra’s interior is just as impressive, if not even more so. The seats feature American Bad Ass embroidery and just about every feature GMC has to offer. That’s not all Rocky Ridge had to offer, though.
The off-road outfitter added a 2.9-liter supercharged to Sierra’s stock 5.3-liter V8 engine for a total power output of 557 horsepower.
