We’re only a month or two away from crunchy red and brown leaves, hot apple cider, pumpkin-flavored everything, and warm sweaters. What better way to celebrate the transition out of summer than by participating in the Yoders’ Farm fall activities? Due to open mid-September for the 2016 autumn months, this local farm offers guests a variety of fun fall-themed attractions to get everyone excited about the change of seasons.
This fall, Yoders’ Farm will greet visitors with the Farm Store, where guests can purchase a variety of locally-grown produce and homemade goods such as tomatoes, apples, pastries, jellies, and more. You can even pick up a Yoders’ Farm cookbook. Plus, features like a 6.5-acre corn maze and a pick-your-own pumpkin patch are sure to be fun for the entire family—or, if you work for an educational institution, a church, or something else where you care for a large group of children, you can also contact the farm for field trip reservations!
Whether you’re looking for a fun day out with your family or you want to support local farmers, Yoders’ Farm fall activities will provide visitors with plenty of fun, as well as tasty treats like homegrown vegetables or baked goods. You can even pick a pumpkin for carving. Swing by the farm located just off of Brown Mills Rd in Rustburg, Virginia.
