The 2018 GMC Terrain pulls out all the stops in order to make itself a well-known model among premium crossovers. The latest model brings a plethora of new features on top of a design that sets it apart from every other crossover on the road. From revised styling to affordable pricing, the GMC Terrain is out to claim its rightful place among the best of the best.
The GMC Terrain offers revised styling with new grille designs and a floating roof. The latest model drops nearly 350 lb. from the previous generation. Perhaps most interesting, however, is the selection of powertrains to choose from.
Drivers have their choice between a 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines. While the smaller of the two earns a peppy 170 horsepower, the 2.0-liter engine will satisfy drivers looking for more power with 252 horsepower. Both engines come paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The latest GMC Terrain also packs in an available 1.6-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine that churns out an impressive 137 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. That engine comes paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and earns up to an EPA-estimated 39 MPG on the highway.*
Here at Highview Motors GMC, we are excited to see the 2018 GMC Terrain doing so well among critics!
